{"id":732,"date":"2004-07-29T19:07:00","date_gmt":"2004-07-30T03:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stevenbrown.ca\/blog\/archives\/732"},"modified":"2009-02-06T13:09:39","modified_gmt":"2009-02-06T21:09:39","slug":"extensify","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stevenbrown.ca\/blog\/archives\/732","title":{"rendered":"Extensify!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I <i>finally<\/i> got around to updating to the<br \/>\nlatest <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/products\/firefox\/\">Firefox<\/a><br \/>\nand migrating from <i>mozilla &#8211;mail<\/i> to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/products\/thunderbird\/\">Thunderbird<\/a>.&nbsp;<br \/>\nIt took a while, but it was <b>definitely worth<br \/>\nit<\/b>.&nbsp; The only problem I ran into was that I lost all<br \/>\nmy extensions and had to re-install them.&nbsp; So that&#8217;s what I<br \/>\ndid.<br \/>\n<lj -cut text=\"Learn from my experience....\"><br \/>\nOver the last&#8230; um&#8230; long time, I&#8217;ve been <a href=\"http:\/\/update.mozilla.org\/extensions\/\">browsing the<br \/>\nextensions<\/a> and selecting the extra-tasty looking<br \/>\nones.&nbsp; Here&#8217;s what I grabbed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/perso.wanadoo.fr\/marc.boullet\/ext\/extensions-en.html\">All-in-One<br \/>\nGestures<\/a> (<i>please<\/i> tell me you use<br \/>\n<b>mouse gestures<\/b>.&nbsp; If not, I can think of<br \/>\nlots of other ways you can waste your time&#8230;.)\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yellowgorilla.net\/imagezoom\/\">Image<br \/>\nZoom<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Allow<br \/>\nRight-Click<\/li>\n<li>Download<br \/>\nStatusbar<\/li>\n<li>BugMeNot<\/li>\n<li>Add Bookmark<br \/>\nHere<\/li>\n<li>Popup<br \/>\nCount<\/li>\n<li>Diggler<\/li>\n<li>Nuke<br \/>\nAnything<\/li>\n<li>Bookmark<br \/>\nBackup<\/li>\n<li>Duplicate Tab<\/li>\n<li>Super<br \/>\nDragAndGo<\/li>\n<li>Flat Bookmark<br \/>\nEditing<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/deepestsender.mozdev.org\/\">Deepest Sender<\/a><br \/>\n(This<b> <\/b>should be of interest to<br \/>\n<i>anyone<\/i> here!&nbsp; As you can probably tell,<br \/>\nthis post is strangely formatted.&nbsp; I&#8217;m using it, right<br \/>\nnow:<b> an awesome LJ Client<\/b>!)\n<\/li>\n<li>Copy URL +<\/li>\n<li>MiniT<br \/>\n(drag+indicator)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/moji.mozdev.org\/\">Moji<\/a> (Japanese Dictionary)\n<\/li>\n<li>Session Saver (<a href=\"http:\/\/forums.mozillazine.org\/viewtopic.php?t=47184\">rewrite<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> To <b>get <\/b>any of these<br \/>\n<b>extensions<\/b>, I recommend going to the official link:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/update.mozilla.org\/extensions\/\">mozilla<br \/>\nupdate<\/a>.&nbsp; There&#8217;s also <a href=\"http:\/\/extensionroom.mozdev.org\/\">extension room<\/a>.<br \/>\n&#8230;I can&#8217;t believe how nice this LJ Client is.&nbsp; I was never<br \/>\nintending to keep using livejournal, but this makes the experience so<br \/>\nmuch better.&nbsp; I am here, for now, anyways&#8230;..
