\nso welcome. I should try actually doing something, though. Anyways,
\ntoday, I killed some time browsing lj communities and such; I’ve never
\nreally done that before. I can’t remember exactly how I found them, but
\nI found some that are practically exhibitionist communities. yes, I
\njoined them – who knows when I’ll be bored next? Maybe I’ll even
\nwhip out the digi-cam and try some artsy self-portraits… – don’t
\nworry, I highly
\ndoubt it. eheh<\/p>\n
And, on a related note, I can’t believe how many communities follow
\nthis simple formula:
\n1) Look at me!
\n2) You’re pretty.
\n3) Thank you.<\/p>\n
Nothing really wrong w\/that, I guess…. always good to have
\nan ego-boost.<\/p>\n

\nI gave up trying Gentoo on a 166 w\/32 MB of RAM. I had it
\ninstalled from the liveCD, but when I did the following:
\nemerge -u portage<\/p>\n
\nAfter
\na couple days of it stuck on the same place in a configure script, I
\njust rebooted it. But there was something wrong with the hard
\ndrive, and linux wouldn’t fully boot. Maybe I coulda fixed
\nit,
\nmaybe not. I just thought I’d give Debian a try,
\ninstead. I
\nthink it’s more suited to the hardware. So I’m currently
\ninstalling Debian. At least I won’t have to compile
\neverything…. ^^<\/p>\n
